  13. I have one modem attach to serial port A (ttya), I want to install a 2cd modem, but I'm doing something wrong.

  15. Can anybody send me a step by step modem installation info?

  17. Or tell me what I'm doing wrong:
  18. 1) adding in the /etc/ttytab two lines - the first for ttyb & the 2cd for cua1.
  19.    They are similar to the previouse modem lines but ttya->ttyb and cua0->cua1.
  20. 2) kill -1 1                      (to update /dev/ttys).
  21. 3) cd /dev        
  22. 4) mknod cua1 c 12 128            (and chmod it to cwr-w--w-)
  23. 5) MAKEDEV

  25. The problems are: tip doesn't work any more ("all device are busy"), pppd to any
  26. modem (cua0 or cua1) activate the cua0 (the first modem).
